BJ, wake up. Any computer can run any other computer's software if it's
based on an add-on card. We're talking about from the CPU here. The
Pentium II can still run old DOS crap nativly. The Mac cannot run II
software *natively*. it must be either emulated, or run through the
add-on hardware.

No, but you act like you're the first to be enlightened to what is already
obvious to everybody. Of course it must be severed! But any company with
a brain does it over time, not instantly - and like it or not, that's why
windows 95 was invented. It's a transition-stage OS to bring windows
users into NT technology, over time. Seems to be working just fine. Now
go finish your other foot.
