I have to pick a nit here.  :-)

It is greater than 1023 STYLE changes.  This includes changing the
foreground colour, background colour, font, font size, font style
(bold, italic, etc) or justification.

Maybe this is the reason that TextEdit only supports one
justification.  You have to have the entire document left, right or
center justified, you can't mix them.
