I'd just like to add a little comment. Yes, the software may hold a copyright.
Is the copyright valid ? That's the key. By law, anyone holding a copyright
who knows of illegal copies must file an action to protect his/her copyright.
If that is not done, he/she has a copyright and is estopped from pursuing the
nasty old pirates out there. Any legal eagles out there care to comment? Of
course that excludes a certain individual who knows all about everything!
