Technically, yes it's illegal.  As a practical matter, however, no one
cares anymore.  Ancient software for a dead computer system just
doesn't excite whatever software police may exist, these days.  I've
downloaded tons of stuff from Asimov and other places, and will
continue to do so as long as it's available.  It's really more of a
preservation thing, than "piracy".

Also, expect to be flamed by a robot called Natan Mates.  I say Robot
because no real human could possibly be so one-dimensional and
single-purposed, as this Artificial Ignorance is.  It seems to think
it owns this newsgroup, and routinely flames anyone it thinks posts
off-topic questions, or generally disagrees with it's world-view.  It
also pretends to be the FAQ keeper for this group, but you can only
access it's FAQ if it deems you to be worthy.  New FAQs are in the
works, and others are currently available with unrestricted access.

Just ignore it, it is a harmless practical joke written by a first
year programming student.
