If you have enough memory in your GS to run System 6, it includes a
program called ADU (Advanced Disk Utilities) that will do a nice job. If
you don't have that much, then go to http://ground.isca.uiowa.edu and
sniff around for an 8-bit ProDOS program that is probably listed as
CSU1.5. That is the Chinook SCSI Utilities, and is the slickest 8-bit
software for Formatting, Partitioning, etc. that I've seen. There was
another one that was called Vanilla, I believe, but wasn't so nice, and
was shareware rather than free.
