Thank you for the help. to make a long story short, I had at some time
changed the ID # of my HD (this HD determines its ID by a set of jumpers).
Anyway, I booted ProSel from a floppy & asked it to show prefixes and
devices. Once I had a jumper setting that showed my HD partitions having
lower device #s than the zip, I tested it & my HD fired up immediately.
