Any way, the question is if Nathan has any copyrights over the FAQ. I think
he shouldn't. It's a document that somehow belongs to the public domain.
Nobody has a FAQ under the sleeve, it's not that easy. It takes many users,
novices and peers, who help each other solve their problems in places like
BBSs and NGs. A FAQ is built that way. I begins in BBSs and NGs, where it
naturally belongs.

I don�t know Nathan. I emailed Nathan a couple of years ago, via his web
page, asking some moronic questions about null-modem cables, telling him
that I am from Peru, where getting information about Apple II is very
difficult. When I visited his page I felt like he could help me solve my
problem. Go to his page, and see how he portraits himself: the Apple II
guru, the IIgs hotshot. I remember his answer clearly: "ask in
comp.sys.apple2". Of course, being a novice in internet, I didn't know what
the heck was that, but I didn't ask him again, because I suspected the
answer would be something like: "Read the FAQ". So, what's the deal.

Now he doesn't want to release the FAQ to the NG.
