Who had the first black page?

I was browsing through various Apple II webpages today, and I noticed
about 90% of them are black! Who had the first black page? Does anyone
remember? I don't think I did (Dump's Apple II page). It just seems
weird, Apple II pages all being black. FYI, I am reverting to a white
page. And also, I need some opinions on the general layout of my new
Apple II site at http://members.home.net/slam
I know there is nothing there except for some sample text grabbed from
the newsgroup, but what about the layout? Thanks all!
