Re: IIgs RAM expansion options




I have a Chinook 4 megger, several Ram GS AE boards, but my FAVORITE is
the QRAM 4 megger that uses 1 meg SIMM BOARDS.

I dont like the idea that if one SIMM chip blows, you must replace the
whole 8-chip soldered board.  BUT, the one meg 30-pin SIMMS are very cheap
---- about $5 per board on the net ----- at a flea market, I got several
working simms for just $1 each!!!

This QRAM 4 meg board is also called the PaceMark 4 meg board.
Works perfectly in my IIgs.
