    Actually they're both equally matched in price, last I checked each
card is available for US$89 with 4 MB installed (the RAM GS Plus, OTOH,
costs US$109 with 4 MB installed, making it

    Well there is certainly now reason to consider both with the price
drop, but I still think the upgrade option (while admittely nice) is
not something most would really have a need for, unless you have some
spare SIMMs about and want to keep a 3 or 4 megabyte RAMDisk on hand.
The fact remains there is trouble once you exceed the GS's DMA limit
and there are no programs that require anywhere near 8 MB.

    One slight advantage is the RAM GS board is not physically as large
as the Sirius and the memory does not stick out and touch the side of
the case (in fact you'll probably end up wanting to place a thin slip
of plastic or cardboard insulator between it and the case). Also worth
mentioning is the 2 year warranty you get with Sequential's card.
