Problems transfering ProDOS disks with MacADT
I recently decided to transfer some of my AppleWorks files to my Mac. A
few months ago, I started transfering my disks using MacADT and was able
to transfer 3 ProDOS disks with AppleWorks files on them, but I was unable
to transfer all my disks at that time. So recently I tried to do the
exact same thing, transfering ProDOS disks from my IIe to my Mac using
MacADT, and for some bizzare reason, MacADT refuses to accept ProDOS disks
now. When I attempt to transfer ProDOS disks, ADT on the IIe reads the
first 5th of the disk OK, then tries to send a block. On the Mac end,
MacADT gives me a bunch of CRC errors that flash by, and ADT never gets
past sending the first block. I can transfter DOS 3.3 disks to and from
fine, and can also send ProDOS disks to the IIe fine, I just can't send
ProDOS disks from the IIe to the Mac. I don't understand why this is not
working now, since I did the exact same thing a few months ago. The only
variable is that I'm now using System 8 on the Mac, where I was using
System 7.5.5 before. (However, I tried under 7.1.2 and got the same
error) I tried downloading MacADT again and re-installing ADT on the IIe
again, with no luck. Please help. Thanks.
