The 1.6 MB AEHD will work with the AEHD driver or the superdrive
controller. Of course if you use one with the superdrive contoller, it
becomes a 1.44 meg drive, but you can read/write IBM disks.
The AEHD driver has never corrupted my files/disks. The only problem I
have had is copy protection. VCR companion uses master disk copy
protection & if the AEHD driver is active, VCR companion doesn't
recognize my master disk as being legitimate.
