Most of the stuff in the apple8 and apple16 directories at ground
have been there for years, and are probably pretty well checked
over. However, with the breakdown of that organization scheme to a
more uploader-based scheme, and a rabid desire for more uploads despite
any faults, some of the new directories may be much less checked
over.

I've had to email the admins to have various Turkey-uploaded items
(the 'AOL', '1WSW' and other associated fetid piles of junk) removed
due to clear copyright violations-- Turkey has never and probably will
never respect copyrights and distribution restrictions, and as the
ground admins can't be bothered to check the uploads themselves (folks
spending so much time doing nothing but wait for new uploads and
rabidly defend anyone who'll give them more files, however marginal, I
guess), newer stuff is much more iffy. However, once you know which
directories should be considered under quarrantine, stick to the more
legitimate ones.
