    You need a mini lamp with two pin connector. From what I recall, 
the Apple II uses a 5 volt, 115 milliamp bulb (the bulb itself is
is roughly 0.6mm tall, so you would want to find one of around that
size). The problem is no one manufactures or stocks replacement
lamps anymore, I know because I went searching about 4 years ago.
Besides which, you had to order them in bulk (packages of 10 or
so) which made it more difficult to get them.

    I received an Apple IIe and Apple III with burned out lamps,
but managed to squeeze a common LED in each as a replacement. It
works, but I'm not sure how safe or reliable it is. My Apple III
seems to be fine and it's unique because its "Power" indicator
lights up in green. :) (the lamp in the Apple III is more than a
cosmetic thing though, without a working bulb the machine loops
into a continious RAM diagnostic check until you press reset).
