   That's not just any Mac running SmileyOS 7.x or 8.0; that's Apple's
Appleshare 2.x or 3.x softare only (and not 1.x or 4.x versions
either). Those programs were commercial and quite pricey (I heard
about $1K) at the time. If you can find that software at a reasonable
price, you could do this. However, you may find it far more useful to
pick up a HD for the GS; you can either pick up a SCSI card and
connect a drive to that, or drop by Alltech Electronics (FAQ section
10.2 has lots of vendors, or go directly to http://www.allelec.com) for
their $59 20MB internal hardcards.
