   Missing something? Nah, just have 20/20 hindsight over the
designers at Apple. "Nobody will need more than
[640K|128K|19200|etc...]" is a fairly common and stupid fault endemic
to lots of companies in the computer industry. When in doubt, trust
the hardware guys when they say the port does 57600 fine and ignore
the UI idiots who can't match what they show to reality.
