//e won't boot

Sorry if this is a duplicate posting, but... I'm trying to put a //e into
service in an elementary school.  It hasn't been used in a while.  I found
some 5.25" boot disks (with Appleworks 2.0 on the reverse) but on startup
I see the cryptic message * RELOCATION / CONFIGURATION  ERROR * and
nothing else happens.  I've tried both disks, in both drives, to no
avail.  Is the disk drive malfunctioning?  Can it be repaired, or are used
5.25" drives cheap and available enough that replacing this one is
reasonable?  It's been a while since I've used a //e, and I have no
documentation.  Any help with this would be greatlt appreciated!  Thanks!
