Libel, slander, and perhaps even a death threat. 

I think Steve Mentzner has a good case if he wanted to take legal
action against Nathan Mates.

At least, from the death threat above, he can get a restraining order
imposed.  And for the benefit of everyone, a restraining order obtained
would permanently tar Mates whenever he might go before a court hearing.
It means, in essence, "This guy is so dangerous, he had to be restrained
from hurting another person."
