this is the most polarizing environment i've seen short of boot camp.

the fact that the apple ][ mafia dons are making such a big deal
about this only makes the situation worse.

if it is that bad, adapt; leave csa2 (you know who you are) and go to
delphi, genie, etc.  eat from the tree of 8-bit bliss and try to
escape the voice of reason calling you, beckoning:

"psst...  hey you, yeah the one with carpal-tunnel syndrome...  the
apple ][ is pushing up daisies, wearing the ol' sod tuxedo, been put
out to pasture; in other words, it's dead.  thanks for
developing/supporting/etc., your work is appreciated, but there's
many more good causes out there worthy crucifying yourself/others
for.  good day."
