Help!

Situation:
I got an Apple II GS, color monitor, disk drives 
3.5 and 5.25, mouse and keyboard
with no manuals no disks and no printer

I know i can get software from apple site(s)
I have internet access and some working ability
with macintosh and pc as well as unix..

Question:
What kind of disk format should I use to download
and "carry" the system software to this GS to give 
this system a try?

Anyone?
