Before, my reason was Tradition (say it like those guys in _Fiddler on
the Roof_!). I used 'em since '86, and I've had little/no reason to
stop. Now, I think my main reason is an emotion I've somehow acquired
that dictates (to me, doi!) that old electronics are cool (especially
Apple // electronics, since they have such a history). A lot of my
Apple //-related purchases are just my buying some early-80's product
that I fear will disappear soon, so I grab it.
I'll bet this is the wrong group to ask this (you can always ask
Richard, Stroker, Endless or Greg* to flame me ;D), but here goes:
I want to bring my PC AND my GS to college. However, a college tour
guide told me that the dorms "weren't wired for [microwave ovens]".
Does this mean that there aren't enough watts coming to my room, so
700W of computer equipment would fail, too, or do microwave ovens use
electricity in a special way?

I wonder why Sam left, anyway? It RULES being in someone's killfile!
I think I'm in two or more of 'em! Both of those people are
morons--I'm ecstatic!
