Press coverage has not been especially melodramatic. In fact,
so-called "industry watchers" have consistently over-estimated Mac
prospects.
For example, reading press accounts of events in 1995, one might
actually believe that Apple's failure to have stock ready to sell in
response to Windows 95 problems was a critical error. Absurd! As usual, the
bean counters were worried about the 'deck chairs' while the ship was
fixing to flip over.
Happily, Apple still has resources. They had better use them to find
something to make that people will buy.
