School Research Assignment

Hello. I need some input from as many of you people as possible.
I am working on a research paper for an Information Systems
Concepts class. This paper makes up half of my grade for the
quarter.
The topic I have chosen to research is Untapped Markets in the
Programming Industry, with an emphasis on retro-gaming and classic
computing. What I need from you readers are your thoughts and
suggestions on the following questions:

For classic video game systems such as the Atari 2600/5200/7800,
Intellivision, Colecovicion/Adam, and any others...

1: What types of games would you like to see produced for these
    systems?

2: Do you feel there is a niche for a hand-held video game unit
that would play collections of the classics compiled onto small
    cartridges?

3: How much would you be willing to pay for new cartridges for
classic systems or for the above hypothetical hand-held system
    and its respective cartridges?

For classic computers such as the VIC-20, C=64/128, Atari (8-bit/ST),
Apple II series, etc...

1: What kinds of new games would you like to see developed?

2: What would you like to see in terms of new applications, system
    software, internet/telecommunications tools, programming tools,
or any other items you can think of?

3: What price range would you consider to be reasonable for quality
    games, tools, and applications?

4: What form of distribution/registration would you feel to be the
    most effective for new packages?

a: Full Commercial (pay before play)
b: Traditional Shareware (try first, then send in your registration)
c: Commissionware (my own term... like shareware, only after you
pay the registration, you get a copy of the
program with your own unique registration number.
Then, any copies you distribute that have your
number on them will earn you a commission if the
person you gave the copu to registers)

5: What new hardware would you like to see produced for the various
    classic systems?

Finally, for statistical purposes, I would like to know what systems,
both classic video game and classic computer systems, you use on a
regular basis and which ones you would like to see supported.

Thank-you very much in advance for your participation and for your
time...
