Disk II card dead?

I connecting a second Disk II drive to my Disk II card and misaligned the
connectors.  The result upon turning it on was a statick clicking noise. 
I turned it off connected the drive correctly and tried again.  Now I
can't load any software off disk.  Is the Disk II card dead?  Are the IIe
and Drives all right?
