which Apple II programs are capable of copying 5.25 disks to/from .DSK
disk image files?
I want to copy some of my 5.25 disks to DSK files for use with an
emulator, and I also like to go the other way... creating 5.25 disks from
DSK files. For transfer of the DSK files to/from my IIgs, I want to copy
them onto 800 K disks...

On his (super-neat) Golden Orchard CD, Jim Maricondo has piles of 800k
"disk images" which the user can convert to diskette using a program called
"Clone" (included on the CD). Do you know the program which produces these
images? (The version of Clone on the CD's Go-Disks volume is just for image
--> diskette conversion.)
I do not know whether the images (820k files) are useful on any current
emulator. If they are, Volkmar's quest may be nearing a successful conclusion.
