     This problem may have something to do with your interface or system 
software (or, maybe, with some background application, such as a screen 
saver).  Running Sys 6.01, Our Zip connected via a 3.01f RamFAST falls 
asleep, too; but, it has no problem waking up when accessed from the 
Finder.
