I am trying to upgrade my "older" Mac 128 & Mac 512 to use a 800K external
drive. I have been told that I can do this by replacing the ROMs with
those
from the Mac Plus. I have a Mac Plus, I want to place the code from its
ROMs
into EPROMs and put the EPROMs into my "older" Macs.
I suspect that the required EPROM would be a 2764. Can anyone confirms
this.
I have a EPROM programmer so moving the code to a EPROM is not a
difficulty.
Thanks.
PS Please forgive me for posting here, I have no access to such a Mac
newsgroup for technical help.
