I have a bunch of 3.5" ext. disk drives with DB-19 connectors in need of
repair.
Below is a description of the drives and the problems.
Platinum colored metal case with daisy chain port on back.
I don't know who sold it (label on bottom fell off).
Eject button (has a recessed dimple) is flush with front panel.
Inside it has a NEC mechanism.
FD1037A
P/N134-500474-154-0
It will not boot (it ejects) or format on a Mac Plus.
Platinum colored plastic case
(From the label on bottom)
FCC ID: BNX84H80-2204
VIDEO TECHNOLOGY COMPUTERS LTD.
LASER FD-356
MADE IN HONG KONG
Inside it has a Chinon Ind, Inc mechanism.
Model F-354MC
It will not boot (it ejects) or format on a Mac Plus.
I've been presuming these are for Mac and Apple IIgs.
Can anyone help me figure these out?
