On the subject of favorite error messages, I once had an old DOS 3.3 
program that would catalog a disk and let one select a program to run.  I 
am blind and use a speech package that doesn't work with interrupts 
disabled and this program was disabling them.  I tried messing with it 
trying to figure out where that was happening and ended up causing the 
program to generate this error.
"SOMETHING WENT WRONG."  That's right up there with the old infocom games 
(which also didn't get allong with my speech software because it messed 
up there disk-timing tricks) giving an "internal error 14 end of story."
