: A good first try is to delete DESKTOP in any main directory ICONS
: folders. Messed-up DESKTOP files cause all sorts of problems.

: Other possible problem sources include screen savers, too many NDA's
: and CDA's, weird INIT files (in SYSTEM/SYSTEM.SETUP) like CloseView,
: activating any AppleTalk drivers, and a corrupted GSCII.

If you delete the *:Icons:Desktop file, be sure to save a copy, SHK it,
and send a copy to Nathan Mates. Last I heard, he wanted corrupted
versions of the Desktop file, so he could figure out precisely what
gets corrupted and possibly write a bugfix or Repair Utility for it.
