Wanted to find... Deathlord from Electronic Arts
Hello! (Konnichiwa!)
When my Apple IIGS monitor was still bright,
I played a number of IIe games that were very
enjoyable. The ones that I can recall are
Wasteland and Deathlord. Though I didn't like
the copy protection and the sound of a 5.25" disk
drive grinding air, these games were well worth
the effort. ^_^;
Now my Apple IIGS monitor is no longer usable,
but I still want to play that game Deathlord (by
Electronic Arts). I did a search on the authors
of the games, but I couldn't track them.
Specifically, I want to have any cheats or tricks,
more documentation (as in hint books), or other
related goods.
If you have more info on this game, I would be glad
to hear it. Please post to the newsgroup and also
privately reply via email.
(Deathlord by Al Escudero and ..., is a role-playing
game, simplistic in that fighting occurs on a text
level (hit 'a' to attack!), but has a Japanese
setting. The setting is unrelated to the real
world. Graphics are in the classic hires (6 color?)
Apple IIe graphics mode. The game was probably
released in 1986 or '87.)
