True!  There is no "DOS Shell" under Win95.  Win95 relies
heavily on 16-bit kernel code.  Most of the DOS system 
files have been renamed, a few of them have been merged 
together, but it is still DOS with a well executed GUI 
shell.  NT, on the other hand, does use a "DOS Shell" to
run DOS applications.
