The easiest way to test is to switch out parts.  The card will also work with
a 5.25 unidisk, if you have one.  If you simply are taking odds, there is
much more complexity in the drive than on the controller card, and much more
to go wrong.

I assume when the computer works you are booting from a different controller
with a different drive?  That the Duodisk won't boot when the card is in slot
six?
