If you bothered to read the last few words of my post, I wrote
that it was pointless complaining and doing comparisons between the
Second Sight and TurboRez (seeing as the TurboRez is a dead project,
just like the Duet card or "Mark Twain"). The Second Sight is a real
product and installed in (apparently) several hundred machines, that
is what counts, I know. Yet it still doesn't make up for any of it's
faults. Other than allowing you to connect up an SVGA display, it is
still fairly worthless at the moment, no?
Speaking of prototypes, I think I remember Joe Kohn saying he
had a bare printed board with the name "TurboRez" on it (no chips
or even sockets, but I wouldn't mind one for my collection :).
