Well moving files back and forth between the PC and Apple IIgs
on my desk is more than simple, it's completely transparent. I of
course have an Apple II 3.5 Disk Controller Card connected to an
external 1.44 MB SuperDrive though. :-)

The only catch is the MSDOS.FST is read-only, and so writing to
PC floppies on the GS side can be a bit of a pain. Although there's
Peter Watson's MS-DOS Utilities, you have to do everything from a
text shell (typing prefix and pathnames) and long obscure commands.
The worst part is it seems to be exteremly _slow_ writing to MS-DOS
disks, especially with larger files. I would really like to see his
"MUG" utility released, apparently it will be in the form of an NDA
and work faster.

The PC can also read 1.44 MB (High Density) HFS and ProDOS disks.
In fact I may start using that as an option until writing to MS-DOS
is speed up (and the interface made better).
