I've recently been using Hermes extensively to look at small "about"
files that are associated with stuff I've downloaded from GEnie
A2Pro. By extensive I mean 30 or more times in a session. Never had a
problem.

I can't explain it, however, I had lots and lots of strange crashes
quite similar to what you describe. Once I installed the Buggie power
supply they went away.

One sequence that caused me to lock up or crash was to launch GS
Shrinkit, shrink/unshrink something and then quit to the finder.

Repeating the previous two or three times and I'd crash. Hasn't
happened since I got the Buggie power supply.
