I tried a 14.4K modem on my Apple IIc Plus with a regular modem cable and it worked, but I was losing characters. I didn't try my HWHS cable (mainly because it won't fit) but my guess is it would have been pointless to try. Mitchell Spector spec@vax2.concordia.ca
