I'll tell you a funny one --

Years ago, when I first got into //e's, I downloaded an 8-bit sound
program (might have been the one being discussed).  The program came
with some samples, including something called MORHPINE.

Well, it was about 1 AM when I finally got around to testing the
program, and I was in my basement office, which was always kind of
spooky.  I got the app to work, and loaded up this Morphine thingie.
Turned out to be a guy yelling "I want morphine" in a semi-crazed
manner, recorded with reverb.

I'm telling you, the first time I heard a voice like that coming
unexpectedly out of my //e at 1 in the morning, I 'bout came out of my
skin!  It was absolutely one of the spookiest things I've ever
experienced.
