Re: reclassified software status

I called Quality Software yesterday (the one in Newton, MA) and spoke to
Susan Adams. She said that there is no Aric Lindsey working there, and
that they definitely do not own the rights to WordPerfect for the Apple
II. She asked that no checks be sent.

All I can conclude is that, given the nature of Scott G's claim, he is
lying. He purports to have a letter on company stationery from the
company I contacted, which denies anything about it.

Folks, Tim Tobin has been in charge of the Lost Classics project over on
Genie for quite a while. He has gotten verifiable results, and it would
be better for the whole A2 community for us to work with him and others
who will verify the status of software and who are not involved in this
for self-promotion or other motives.
