Thanks you VERY MUCH for the reply, name and tel. number.  I contacted
this lady also by voice and confirmed exactly what you related to me.

I'm posting the updated information on all of this ASAP to CSA2.

The letter that I received from Scott Gamon is oviously a FAKE
and this deeply sickens and upsets me to no end.   I am instututing an
investigation on all of this also now.  

The return envelope for the letter has the following information for
additional investigation into this fake effort from Mr. Gamon (if in fact
there even is such a real person).

My being caught in the middle of this matter sickens me a great deal.  I
received this letter, which I thought was very real only now to learn that
it's a gigantic fake.

I'm completely without any logical explaination on the matter.
This is indeed a grand setup with my holding the original letter now.  I'm
sending a copy on to the lady at the Quality Software in Newton, MA.  She
will turn the copy of the letter and the envelope copy I'm also sending
her over to the Attorney General there for investigation.  

This is a fake and a matter that demands Mr. Scott Gamon's (Scott G.)
public explaination for on a post to CSA2.  
This all really makes me look extreamely foolish and stupid with it all
now.

Having received the email from Corel legal dept that a 'Quality Software'
did obtain the rights to the WP for the Apple II and IIGS give me the
impression that such is correct.  Now, it's got to be located and this
matter needs to be investigated to find out just what the legal status is
on WP and get the varifiable facts out WITH CONCLUSIVE PROOF of same - to
the Apple II
community ASAP! 

I do not know what else to do at this point with any of this. I am
removing any and all references and links to WP from all of my web sites
ASAP and certainly will try to relate all the facts 
_TO DATE_ that I have available on all of this to the readers of 
CSA2, as promptly as humanly possible.

If this is another little plot to discredit Dr. Tom, it worked very well. 
Like I said, I'm sickened by all of this deeply now and don't know what
else to do about it currently.

So, in short, I've had it with all of this.  I'm not involved with any of
it any more.  I have no intentions of concerning myself with any software
reclassification efforts ever again.
