The closest I can think of would be Seven Hills' SuperConvert program.
You can load in and convert a GIF image (or APF) and then send it to your
printer using the 'Print' command from the file menu.
A better solution though, at least in my experience, is using Prism
in combination with Platinum Paint 2.0. Prism allows you to convert
GIF's into _large_ 320 mode APF images (so should SuperConvert, given the
memory) which Platinum Paint will be able to load in just fine. When you
go to the 'Print' menu, select 'Setup' and choice "50% actual size" and
then print your image. This creates excellent results on an ImageWriter
II, even with color (the image will be very smooth and sharp looking;
this being the best way to squeeze the most from your IW2 in terms of
graphical output. About the same for what Pointless does for fonts :)
It works best on line-art and cartoon images (i.e. GIFs you might find
on alt.binaries.pictures.cartoons).
