My Sider has a lovely DB-50 plug. THIS connects to a RamFast?? :)
I suppose it must be in the Siders' manuals (cuz it ain't in the RamFast
manual) how one is supposed to use a Sider and the unique plug/jacks
they provide with anything other than what came with the thing.
When I needed to xfer this 6 meg sound file between my GS's SCSI drive
and my //e's Sider, I thought great, I can just hitch the Sider on the
chain and have at it -- not remembering that the connection is a DB50
and not a Centronics 50. Yeah, had to unscrew a bunch of stuff and put
the Xebec card into my GS to make the move, and use Copy 2+ to move the
file because the Finder did not previously recognise the drive's
existance (or until after I'd used C2+ and "proven" it).
Funny the RamFast manual says nothing except "you can, and attend JP1".
