You require the High Sierra/ISO9660 FST to be installed (see your
GS/OS distribution disks).
Many ISO9660 CDs are "broken", in that they use extensions which
are contrary to the ISO9660 standard. I don't recall the details
and I'm not in a location where I can verify them right now,
but there is an init from EGO Systems called "Dr. Bazyar" that
solves this problem.
With the two I don't have any problems reading ISO9660 data.
