Proposal: Newsgroup reorganization
I have a proposal:
Contacting the powers-that-be to split comp.sys.apple2 into:
comp.sys.apple2--
answers to questions like "How do I do this?" "Found a bug in..."
"What software is available?" "How do I fix this?"
comp.sys.apple2.bored.ranting.programmers--
no answers, no questions, just stuff that would only come from
the bastard child of Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh.
(In other words- take every post that begins "Dr Tom is..." or
"WordPerfect..." etc etc)
Everyone would be happy. The bored ranting raving clan could go about
proving to each other their collective lack of **** (fill in anatomical
term) and the rest of us could get some real work done.
