Dear Norman,

The disk will be remembered until you go to the Setup menu again and either
choose a new disk image or push the "None" button (for not having Bernie mount
a volume at launch time).

If defining a new startup volume does not help, then we are facing a bug and
shame on us. You can still fix it by simply deleting the Prefs file - of
course, this also erases your other settings including the registration code.
(Your reg code will still work, but you have to type it in again.)
