Well, at least they're consistent unlike certain politicians in THIS

No, there's a potentiometer on the side of my modem which allows me to
manually control the volume from my modem (none of the preset L1, L2, L3
crap). USR Sportster: cool idea.
And since the radio is on, I usually can't hear a click anyway.
