I have run into the second problem quite frequently: When I am
connected to my roommate's Mac (Sys7.5.5 Performa) to share his hard
drive and he shuts down his mac, "disconnecting" me, my GS switches to
40col mode and tells me that "The server [my roommate's mac] has shut
down" and then hangs at that screen (I hit return madly, click, hit
any keys, etc.). If I am in a desktop application, a graphical window
pops up, and I can click "Ok" no problem and continue (it only locks up
if I'm in a non-GUI application like GNO).
I've talked to Derek Taubert about this, and he is looking into it
afaik.
Thanks,
Pete
