How should I re-install the HD?

I have this GS with SCSI-HD, some extra-ram, transwarp, etc. The damn GS
won't boot the OS from the HD, neither does it from the 3.5" disks (the
disks _are_ ok).
What should I do? How should I format the whole HD?
What is the proper copy-program for GS that I can start from ProDos?
