IIGS ROM00 -> ROM01 Upgrade ?

I got a "simple" Question.....

The next Days I will buy an IIGS with ROM00.

I want to upgrade to ROM01.
Many people did say/write the upgrade isnt
available from Apple....

So I got an Idea. On the InterNet the ROM01
is available as File 1024*128Byte Filesize
for IIGS Emulators.

If I did burn this in a EPROM would it be OK
for an original IIGS ?

If YES, what for a type of EPROM (CMOS, ns ?)

Or how could I transfer the ROM01 to the IIGS ?
