Cripes, this sure is FAQ material. The finder polls every 3.5 constantly,
the unidisk light flashes while the light on grey 3.5s don't. Just like how
the light flashes when you press the eject button on a unidisk but doesn't
on a grey 3.5. If you have 5.25s chained to a grey 3.5, you can see a little
flicker in their lights too.

Inactivate SCC.MANAGER in the drivers folder.
